The Belle Haven Cottage

Angler's Lodge
Built in 1913 and originally named "Thelma by the sea" after the builder's daughter, Thelma Wood Holly Angler's Lodge was moved from its original location on Anna Maria Island to the Green Village in 2011. Originally a private residence, the house eventually acted as a fishing retreat for visiting fishermen in its heyday. The Wood family were owned an important agriculture J.R. Woods was Mayer around the time of the house's construction. The architecture of the Angler Lodge reflects its maritime heritage, featuring weathered wood exteriors, classic design elements, and a cozy ambiance that resonates with the island's laid-back coastal lifestyle.
